Harney County Trail System

June 6, 2016

The Harney County Chamber has teamed up with the Forest Service, BLM and Fish & Wildlife to produce a county wide trail map.  Not only will hiking and biking be available; equestrian and llama trails, motorcycle, ATV, OHV, off road vehicles, winter sports such as snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snow shoeing.  We are proud to announce we have received our first grant from Oregon State Parks and Rec for new kiosks in the Malheur Forest where these new maps will be housed.  The projected completion of both items is spring of 2017.  Want to be engaged in the planning process, stop by the Chamber office.
